GUSHER LIVE XPS* :
GARDEN GIG—X EDITION
LIVE EVENT & STREAM PRODUCTION :: ART DIRECTION :: UI DESIGN :: 2025Garden Gig X Edition marks the 10th edition of Garden Gig, a long-running live music series that began as an informal backyard gathering hosted by Thammy Ndlovu and a collective of jazz musicians. For this milestone edition, Garden Gig partnered with GUSHER* to produce a LIVE XP session, recorded and streamed on 11 April 2024 at The Mills, Johannesburg
The session was produced using a stripped-back, single-camera setup (my IPhone 12 lol) and live-streamed as part of Gusher’s Live XP series, embracing a deliberately DIY production approach while prioritising documentation and archival clarity. I designed the broadcast UI, ran the livestream, and handled recording and archiving for the session.
