Live peer-to-peer creative workshop, NOT A SCHOOL DAY*, hosted on 23 August 2024 at Lapa, Brixton, Johannesburg, under GUSHER’s NOT SCHOOL*. The workshop featured experimental classes exploring songwriting, synthesis, audio-driven design, and interactive sonic experiments. Sessions included: synthesis with Kayleb Sass, songwriting techniques with KYABO, audio-driven design using Touch Designer & VCV Rack with Jordan Barris and myself, and an interactive study of language and sound, Lost in Translation, led by curator Mbako Moemise.

The event was sponsored by the Goethe-Institut Joburg and hosted at Lapa. I organised the event, designed the live-stream UI, coordinated the broadcast, and managed a multi-camera setup and sound system for real-time online transmission.
